Code V- Chapter 22
Seth? You havent been yourself lately.
Seth looked gloomily over the Midair Stadium, where Reno and Alvin had resumed their fight for the championship. Alvin still fought as well as he did, but that was to be expected; he never used his eyes when battling anyways. He remembered when he had first sat in this stadium watching their first battle, when none of them knew one another
Seth? Ikes voice called again.
Huh? The Gaians head shot up, blinking at Ike. Oh its nothing He returned to observing the battle quietly. Ike frowned. The mercenary knew that hi

Code V- Chapter 21
Unknown to Narcissa and Alvin, another person had trouble falling asleep that night.
Marth was on his back, his arms crossed underneath his head, thinking about what Roy had told him. The flame-haired swordsman had said that he had been tracking the group for a while, ever since they met Devoc.
I was crossing the plains when I saw you with the others, Roy explained earlier in the day. You were still some distance away from me, and I was tired from traveling through rough terrain, so I couldnt catch up with you immediately. But then I lost track of you when the ruins collapsed. I was ready to enter the ruins when I fe

The dragon gazed at them with sorrowful eyes, the Dragonforce at its claws flickering. At first, no one moved, but that changed when Devoc suddenly rushed at them, his serpentine body twirling in the wind. He sped towards Alvin first, though he deliberately tried to avoid harming Narcissa. Alvin whipped out his dagger and dodged the dragons body, the gleaming white scales nearly grazing his side.
Kyoko! Roy called out to the girl standing next to him. Ryoko nodded and leaped forwards, brandishing a staff with a gem on one end and a sickle on another. Roy then drew out a gleaming blade and dashed towards Devoc wit

Roy smiled sadly at his old friend. Regret was clear in his eyes. Marth its been a long time. Too long The other prince was almost on his knees, his eyes sparkling. He was close to sobbing.
Where have you been all this time? Marth asked quietly, his gaze trained on Roy. Roy bowed his head.
I will have to explain that later. He sighed and looked up at Devoc. There is something more important to talk about, if Im not mistaken. Devoc shook his head slowly.
Youre right, Roy, the silver haired boy said quietly. Theres much to explain.

Reno woke up the next morning sunshine and a pleasant breeze. Groaning, he stretched his arms and rubbed his eyes. They had traveled quite a bit since yesterday, and they were all pretty tired. He found that most of the others had already woken, though Geyser, Geysette, and Chuan were still sleeping. The others were sitting in a circle, discussing something. Reno blinked. What was going on? He headed over to the group, curious.
Morning, he yawned. Whats happening?
Were talking about what Palutena said, Ike murmured. It it troubles me, somehow. Something wrong with the fabric of the

Narcissas group traveled quickly over the past few days, resting at various points and then swiftly setting off again. Nothing too exciting had happened so far, which was a disappointment for Narcissa. Somehow, it felt like they were not making any progress despite all their traveling. They knew the problem, but they still did not know the cause. Subspace? Some other strange force? She had the feeling that the answer was within their reach, but it was somehow evading them.
Now, the tops of the trees in the distant forest were visible. She felt relieved that they were finally nearing their destination, as they had tra

Dark storm clouds reigned in the skies as thunder echoed in the distance. Reno thought he could see the faint shape of the Spear Pillar far away. His group had traveled pretty quickly, and he wondered how far Narcissas had gotten. So far, they saw no sign of Pit. Hopefully they would get word of the angel soon.
Its so dreary today, he sighed, feeling a drop of rain on his head.
I actually like the rain, Seth said, stretching out his arms.
Maybe you just like being gloomy? Geysette snapped with a pout on her face. Rain never made her feel good. Things just seemed to get really

Narcissa and her party gradually made their way towards the thick forest they were at much earlier in their journey. She constantly worried about the others. Were they ok? How was Reno? Was there any sign of Pit? She sighed and gazed behind her, looking at what remained of the huge group. Alvin noticed her unease and stepped a little closer to her side.
Nothing overly exciting had happened since they set out from Lexion. Narcissa missed the energy of Geyser and Geysette, though sometimes their childishness was a bit of a bother at times. Chuan, though he had a demon inside of him, had also helped to ease her tension during t

The snowfall had grown stronger. It was nighttime, and Narcissa thought she could make out faint lights in the distance. We must be nearing Lexion, she thought. They trudged on through the darkness, their shoes making crunching sounds as they met the light layer of snow. It was a nice, calm night, and though it was snowing, some parts of the sky were clear, and the stars were visible.
After one long hour, the tired group finally reached Lexion. It was a small town right near the icy mountains, and it was constantly buffeted by the cold wind. It was peaceful though, which made Narcissa happy. She needed some feeling of relax

As soon as they left the area with the ruins, Ness said goodbye to the group and continued on to find Lucas. To Narcissas disappointment, much of the scenery around them was still rather rugged. They traveled on for several more days. Narcissa thought she noticed that the wind was getting chillier and the ground was becoming permafrost. Everyone started to put on warmer clothes. She found herself huddling close to Alvin for warmth, the boy saying nothing but at the same time, not rejecting her closeness.
Right now, there was a bit of a flurry as the wind blew snow from the icy mountains beyond. Narcissa liked the snow
